Pros

If you enjoy working in an environment where you are chronically understaffed...where some 60% of the nursing staff has been on the job for at least 5 years and experienced tenured staff are few and far between, have at it.

Cons

Low capped out salaries for tenured nurses...awful healthcare benefits with high deductibles and copays...punitive absence policies...sick/vacation days lumped together under "Time Away Pay" with an abysmal accrual rate for new and tenured staff alike...unsafe staffing ratios
