Pros

The company is growing quarter over quarter and seeing monstrous growth. The Culture is progressive and everyone seems to be incredibly passionate about the IT problems our company is fixing. We have all the great perks anyone could ask for and then some. My favorite "value" of ours is transparency. With our hyper-growth, it's crucial to have an organization who believes so strongly in being transparent with every single employee and stake-holder about what we're doing as a company, and how our success/roadblocks.

Cons

With hyper-growth, comes aggressive organizational momentum. Adapt fast and enjoy the ride!

Pros

A dynamic, fast-paced environment driven by top-tier talent and a deeply collaborative culture. The company successfully combines a high-growth startup mindset with agile execution, fostering continuous innovation and cross-functional support.

Cons

Like many publicly traded SaaS companies, Okta has aggressive revenue targets. Employees in sales, account management, and customer success frequently note that quotas are demanding, territories can change unexpectedly during annual restructuring, and pressure to expand accounts can lead to burnout.

Pros

Smart, talented, and supportive colleagues. Interesting products and the opportunity to work on technology that impacts many customers. Good work-life balance in most teams. Collaborative culture with opportunities to learn from experienced peers. Strong brand recognition and valuable experience for your resume

Cons

Cons Recognition is lacking, especially for individual contributors. Strong performance and consistent delivery do not necessarily translate into career advancement, promotions, or meaningful salary increases. Growth opportunities appear limited for ICs, while management roles seem to receive a greater share of advancement and compensation opportunities. After several years, many individual contributors may find themselves reaching a career plateau with few clear paths for progression. If career growth, promotion opportunities, and compensation advancement are important priorities, it may be worth evaluating other opportunities once you’ve gained experience here
