Pros

- Great product and the leader in the market - Large amount of enterprise customers to reference - Full confidence that this company will go public - Clear executive plan on how to get to a position to IPO - Great Executive leadership with Todd and Freddy - Lot's of smart people here that are very good at what they do

Cons

- Scaling the company has lead to many problems that have been amplified over time and has caused what culture we had to deteriorate - Lack of strong leadership in certain departments and very unorganized processes - No managerial review process/forum for employees - Performance reviews and evaluations either don't happen or happen months after they needed to occur

Cons

Like many publicly traded SaaS companies, Okta has aggressive revenue targets. Employees in sales, account management, and customer success frequently note that quotas are demanding, territories can change unexpectedly during annual restructuring, and pressure to expand accounts can lead to burnout.

Pros

Great Benefits. Fantastic product. Company is scaling (or at least trying to).

Cons

Management and company culture has grown toxic. Extremely political and dramatic. Specifically in sales, marketing, and the C-Suite. I wouldn’t recommend joining okta unless you are some type of director or above and also remote. SF just RTO’d and it’s been miserable.
