Pros

Have been working with enterprise software for a while in my career so far. Okta is the only one that does not have that rigid and dull engineering environment and atmosphere most of other similar software company have. Challenge engineering problems to solve due to the growth and the natural of the cyber security problems. Engineering interview might not be as hard or intense as Google or Facebook but it's certainly not easy which is a good thing because it maintains a relatively high standard software engineering culture.

Cons

Might be a side effect for the growth, more and more "processes" got introduced and sometimes might be a little frustrating if you are really free will.

Pros

A dynamic, fast-paced environment driven by top-tier talent and a deeply collaborative culture. The company successfully combines a high-growth startup mindset with agile execution, fostering continuous innovation and cross-functional support.

Cons

Like many publicly traded SaaS companies, Okta has aggressive revenue targets. Employees in sales, account management, and customer success frequently note that quotas are demanding, territories can change unexpectedly during annual restructuring, and pressure to expand accounts can lead to burnout.

Pros

Great Benefits. Fantastic product. Company is scaling (or at least trying to).

Cons

Management and company culture has grown toxic. Extremely political and dramatic. Specifically in sales, marketing, and the C-Suite. I wouldn’t recommend joining okta unless you are some type of director or above and also remote. SF just RTO’d and it’s been miserable.
