Pros
Work peers are friendly and helpful. If you want just a 8am to 5pm job and are able to be completely obedient and not ask any questions, this could be a good place to work. However, do not expect to get any training on products and services offered.
Cons
I was 20 years older than any of the other employees in the department. I met with my supervisor for a total of 2 hours in three weeks time. In the course of that time, that person was out of the office on personal business for a significant amount of time. There was no departmental training offered. After two weeks, I was told that I did not fit in with no explanation or understanding of what that meant. No feedback from supervisor as I did the work. Do not ask questions. Do not provide ideas on how to improve the process. Tons of Process Manuals that are out of date because of restructuring, but you are told to follow the process manual instructions even though they are out of date. My peers feared my supervisor. Not a word would be said when the supervisor was in the office. The president is the ultimate decision maker in everything - even dictating where to place a staple on a report.
