Pros
They do care about their employees. They provide safe, clean operating facilities and decent pay with benefits. I you get sick and need short or long term disability HR and leadership will bend over backwards to help you. New hires get 3 weeks of vacation their first year
Cons
In 2020 they choose not to match 401K as agreed during hiring (But with the economy crisis this year they are trying to survive without laying off workers, So I can somewhat agree). My biggest complaint is with global HR trying to reduce our flex time. An example as we moved from Blue Cube to Olin they changed our HR structure and policies and said we could no longer take vacation in 1 hr increments. Something we have been allowed to do for years and helps keep us competitive with other chemical plants in our area. And it served no purpose other than to show us they have control and Blue Cube policies are out
