Pros
Schedule. 12 hr shifts are nice for time off, if you have a lot of seniority. Hourly employees work together well.
Cons
Management struggles to keep a consistent working environment. It is time for a revamp. Working remotely several days a week has disconnected them from the day to day process of the plant. The production process is in complete disarray and cannot function properly. This has left operations in a dangerous position numerous times. Decisions that must be made in a moments notice are scrutinized over the following weeks by a team of management whom ultimately will place blame on operations. This kind of lack of accountability on management's part has fractured relations with the workforce. A change in management is desperately needed here. Without intervention, this plant is doomed to fail. Compensation has fallen behind inflation at leaps and bounds.
