Pros
Design. What Olson Kundig creates is beautiful. It makes you proud to be a part of the firm. People - many of the people are extremely talented, creative, fun and passionate about design. Benefits - health and retirement benefits are top notch. Leadership - some members of the leadership truly care about people and doing good in the world.
Cons
People - there was a noticeable shift several years ago when the CFO was hired. It feels like the bottom line is more important than people. Some leaders - Employees can work there for a couple of years and never have an opportunity to talk to an owner or feel they even know who you are. New leaders are filling this gap though. Clients - you have to be comfortable working for people who are in the top 1%, and with a small percentage of those 1% who might not be considered ethical. This funds those amazing design opportunities and creative endeavors. Workload - long hours, much stress, little recognition.
