Pros

They give you decent benefits, WFH stipend, send little gifts

Cons

Doesn't seem to be open communication between sales, marketing and product. Confusing and out of date sales material. Culture is in some was "cult-ish" in that everyone just pats each other on the back while barely getting any work done. Sales team is unpaid as well vs. industry standards.

Omada Health Response
5y
Getting the interface between product, sales, and marketing is absolutely critical at Omada and is something that we are always working to improve and evolve. While we are humbled to have helped so many people, (over 400,000 people have enrolled in our programs), we continue to work on teamwork across the entire organization so we can better serve our members as we grow. The Omada culture is actually one of the key reasons cited by team members as a deciding factor to join our team and is based on community and inclusivity. Having hired more than 100 people over recent months, we are very focused on maintaining our values while operating better and faster than ever before. While it sounds that your experience was not ideal, we appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback and we will continue to focus on getting better and better.

Pros

Lots of smart people, great mission, digital health company that's balancing clinical evidence with tech growth.

Cons

Less of a con, more of a heads up to make sure your role is truly valued during the interview process. Try to gauge how much cross-functional buy-in is needed for you to have impact. As with most startups, layoffs happen and if you're struggling to get projects started because there's no internal support, your role is at risk.
