Pros

- Flexible schedule - Good benefits - Remote first culture - As long as you get your work done, they don't bother you

Cons

- Time clock that tracks time spent working with members is not accurate. I have worked 12 hour days before just to hit the required dashboard time when working overtime. I'm constantly putting in way more hours than actually scheduled because I'm trying to hit the dashboard time, even if I have finished all of my work. - Not enough hours at the end of the year; we went months and months working less than 40 hours and I don't know how much longer I would have been able to sustain that. It put a big financial strain on me for those months and it was hard to manage, especially around the holidays. It would have been nice to have at least 40 hours consistently. We could have done trainings or anything to help us get those extra few hours.

Thank you for your thoughtful and candid feedback. We want to clarify that the time tracking dashboard for member-facing employees is intended to be an ancillary time management resource, independent of the time tracking system used for payroll purposes. Our coaches are trained and expected to accurately log their working hours through the appropriate HR tool for compensation accuracy. We continue to be committed to exploring new ways to support coaches in managing their time effectively by researching innovative solutions to enhance visibility and accuracy in time tracking through our dashboard. This is one of many ways that we support Omadans in staying informed and we look forward to offering more solutions in the future.

Pros

Lots of smart people, great mission, digital health company that's balancing clinical evidence with tech growth.

Cons

Less of a con, more of a heads up to make sure your role is truly valued during the interview process. Try to gauge how much cross-functional buy-in is needed for you to have impact. As with most startups, layoffs happen and if you're struggling to get projects started because there's no internal support, your role is at risk.
