Pros

Free meals Holiday Pay Flexible Schedule Coworkers were friendly Employee discount was generous at other properties

Cons

Management will not hear your side in any situation The company does not follow its own disciplinary policies Lots of "we are a family" and "growing our garden" are pushed, but very little room for actual growth. You will move up only if they like you. Very little training is offered before you are expected to know everything. They will micro-manage you and expect every little detail to be perfect. You mess up one thing, and you're out. Lots of demands and high expectations with little pay to compensate, compared to the competition Values are not followed

Pros

Calm and mostly low-stress role.

Cons

Pay was extremely low. Zero commissions even if you sold a $10,000 watch or a $1,000 book. High priced items, lots of sales targets we had to hit, but we didn’t get a single bonus, no rewards except for a “pizza day” or free lunch. And beware, even as a full-time employee they would suddenly cut your hours/ shifts from your schedule.. if they weren’t a full house at the hotel and needed to save money, aside from not even paying well. Then the parking was a mess, apparently they hadn’t thought it out when building. So employees should be prepared to literally hike from far parking lots down by the golf course or get texts right before your shift saying you need to park at a college or somewhere miles off-site then wait for a shuttle. Then get reprimanded for being late.
