Pros

The company is well positioned with few competitors in their niche. Employees can (and do) work 10:00 to 4:00 and are encouraged to take time off from their day to work out at the company gym. Pay is competitive, bonus program is based on objectives that are part of what you would do anyway, and ESPP discount is 15% with a 2 year roll-over.

Cons

Software management are former engineering developers with no training in management. Favoritism, intimidation, scapegoating, and poor decision making are not uncommon. If you're comfortable with slacking off, not making waves, and living in a Dilbert cartoon, you'll go far.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and for the contributions you’ve made during your time with Omnicell. We’re glad to hear that you’ve found your team environment supportive and that the flexibility has been a positive part of your role. We also recognize that quarter close can bring busy periods, and that while fully remote work offers flexibility, it can sometimes feel isolating. We encourage you to continue connecting with your manager and teammates on ways to support balance and build stronger connections, and to explore groups like our Employee Impact Groups for additional ways to stay engaged. Thanks again for sharing your insights and for being part of the Omnicell team!

Pros

Worked for them for 7 1/2 years until after COVID, and no one came back to the office. Only 4 people remained in the office, shipping, and IT. After the owners sold them the building, Omnicell canceled the lease and was told that the lease would end in August 2022. I saw it coming after COVID, and no one was in the building. No offer to find other positions in the company. They do cuts all the time when stock prices go down, which is a sign of trouble ahead. Bad MGMT to many Top Dogs

Cons

I'm overworked and underpaid, and I plan to work off the clock at times.

Thank you for sharing your experience and for the many years you spent with Omnicell - seven and a half years is a meaningful commitment, and we truly appreciate your contributions. We’re sorry to hear about your experience, particularly around communication, workload, and compensation. We recognize how challenging periods of change can be, especially following COVID, and appreciate your feedback on management structure and workforce reductions. We take concerns about workload seriously and encourage open conversations so employees feel supported. We also encourage the use of resources like our EAP and BREATHE employee impact group for additional strategies and support. Thank you again for your candor and your time with Omnicell. We wish you all the best in your next step.
