Pros

Still many great people at Omnicell working hard to help the company be successful, but retention and other issues crippling. Salary good-above avg.

Cons

Many changes over last 12 months, with multiple rounds of layoffs. Some good leaders didn’t like what they were seeing and jumped ship when given the opportunity. In one case, the “acting field leader” put in place as a replacement is immature, unseasoned, self-centered and not up to the task. As a result, morale is dropping across the team. I have always loved my time working at this company, but when your leader changes and it is bad choice, the whole experience changes. The current culture does not match what it used to be and some leader comments are now just unprofessional. This is a 180 degree shift from the prior field director who was polished, took the high road and set a great example for others. The replacement leader comes across as someone who has a long way to go to be that type of polished, authentic, and inspiring leader. VP level leaders have also left the company recently. There’s a long way to go to turn this ship around. Hopefully, smart, inspiring leaders are put in place to get it going in the right direction. Otherwise, more talented, experienced people will be jumping ship.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and for the contributions you’ve made during your time with Omnicell. We’re glad to hear that you’ve found your team environment supportive and that the flexibility has been a positive part of your role. We also recognize that quarter close can bring busy periods, and that while fully remote work offers flexibility, it can sometimes feel isolating. We encourage you to continue connecting with your manager and teammates on ways to support balance and build stronger connections, and to explore groups like our Employee Impact Groups for additional ways to stay engaged. Thanks again for sharing your insights and for being part of the Omnicell team!

Pros

Worked for them for 7 1/2 years until after COVID, and no one came back to the office. Only 4 people remained in the office, shipping, and IT. After the owners sold them the building, Omnicell canceled the lease and was told that the lease would end in August 2022. I saw it coming after COVID, and no one was in the building. No offer to find other positions in the company. They do cuts all the time when stock prices go down, which is a sign of trouble ahead. Bad MGMT to many Top Dogs

Cons

I'm overworked and underpaid, and I plan to work off the clock at times.
