Pros

- Smart, positive and well-intentioned people - Focus on fostering teams and continual growth - Get-things-done attitude and culture - Fun group activities and ideas - often initiated by Care, People and Marketing teams - Collaborative partners - Caring leadership team - people growing and learning along with their teams - Family-first mentality, starting with CEO - Happy clients and members

Cons

- Open floor space makes it difficult to balance noise sometimes - Typical start-up growth where teams change and people leave - some people feel sad and readjust, but others stay angry and start attacking. Need better ways to help people accept and deal with changes. - No decent onsite lunch options

Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences. As Onduo is continuing to grow, we are always looking for new ways to support our teams and to support individuals in their own growth. We’re glad that you noted our fun group activities -- the teams have worked hard to bring the start-up spirit into our employees’ homes as we’re working from home. One of my favorite internal traditions is highlighting an employee at the monthly hands-on and learning from one of their colleagues why that employee embodies the Onduo values of Curiosity, Grit, Courage, Focus and Empathy!

Pros

Onduo has exciting growth potential in the market, and leadership does a good job of sharing their company vision. There is a lot of open communication in the marketing department, which has been helpful as everyone is working remotely during COVID, and recognition of work well done. Onduo has also upped their benefits package this year so it is competitive with paid time off, tuition reimbursement, parental leave, sick time, etc.

Cons

There can be some long working hours and rush to get things out the door, which is standard for a start-up company.

Thanks! We're excited about the growth potential too -- and what that means for the individuals living with chronic conditions and how we can help them live healthier lives. And appreciate your advice to management. The leadership team continues to listen and respond in formal and informal channels.

Pros

The benefits package is great, fully remote for the time of COVID, your immediate team is strong, the vision is promising and a large financial backing

Cons

There is ALWAYS an ulterior motive for everything. You don’t find it out before it’s too late. Upper level people take your ideas and pretend they were their own (but 3 months later). There is ZERO recognition for the person who actually did the job at hand. The entire company rests in the hand of what we call the Care Team. Priorities are all over the place. We say we want to be the best but in reality we are falling way behind competition. Nothing gets done in a timely fashion. And when something needs to be fixed it take months to get someone to start to think about fixing it. With the company going through a huge transition you would think everything would have been ironed out months ago, but it seems like we are starting the company over again. Falling into very bad habits that were fixed months if not years ago. I understand transitions mean change but it most certainly does not mean to stop communication and improvements. There is zero upwards mobility and when you try to advance your career they pretend to take you seriously for a week and then de prioritized it. I don’t think we have ever had an HR department.

Thank you for taking the time to post your experience with Onduo. The organization completed a major shift in 2020, with the addition of a new CEO and a few additional senior leaders including an HR executive. We take feedback very seriously, including comments about team recognition and priority setting. We believe we have programs in place and in development to help address some of the concerns you mentioned. We would be happy to have an offline conversation if you have specific feedback that we can incorporate for future teams.
