Thank you for expressing your concern.
One Hope United is committed to providing a physically safe work environment that is free from all forms of discrimination and conduct that can be considered harassing, coercive or disruptive, including sexual and other unlawful harassment. Actions, words, jokes or comments based on an individual’s race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, age, sex (including pregnancy), marital status, disability or handicap, military status, sexual orientation, gender identity, unfavorable discharge from military service, arrest record, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law, will not be tolerated.
We take your concern seriously and are looking into the matter. If you would like to receive an update, please use our Red Flag Reporting tool, which allows us to track and respond to your concern directly, even if you choose to submit it anonymously (Red Flag acts as an intermediary to protect your identity). Any staff member can raise concerns and make reports without fear of reprisal or retaliation, as the agency will not tolerate any retaliation against employees who make good-faith reports of perceived harassment or who participate in investigations of alleged violations of this policy. Anyone who feels he/she has been retaliated against for reporting a perceived violation of this policy or for cooperating in the investigation of a possible violation of this policy, should report the matter to his/her supervisor, Human Resources or any member of management with whom the employee feels comfortable. Red Flag Reporting is available for employees who do not feel comfortable reporting directly to management or Human Resources.
For more information, please review Section 104 of our Employee Handbook, “Sexual and Other Unlawful Harassment.”
