Nurse Practitioner - Nurse Practitioner One Medical Employee Review

Pros

Great staff and colleagues Approachable management Safe work environment Generally healthy/ pleasant patient population Good EMR, very user friendly

Cons

Pay is absolutely atrocious, given we live in SF. Working full-time will put you below the poverty line for a 4 person household. This is a great job if you are the supplemental income earner in your household. 3 weeks vacation/sick-time all lumped together in a " PTO" pot. Yoi will easily work 40+ hours/week at home, on the couch after work completing charts, answering an outlandish number of patient emails, following up on labs and studies. Nurse Practitioners and PAs get paid 1/2 the salary of an MD (Im not exaggerating) and have the same work load. High staff turnover
