Pros
Modern, cool-looking offices usually near public transport. Relatively easy to learn EMR Can’t think of any more pros to add to this review
Cons
This review will echo the other sentiments from NPs, but the salary is insulting and the work load is overwhelming. And when I found that the MDs make literally double the NP salary for the same work I quit. I was working 12-hr days trying to keep up with all the emails and messaging from patients. The whole day is set up with back to back patients leaving no time for anything else. And with lumped sick time and PTO, and no time allotted for education, unpaid compulsory meetings, unpaid lunch hour that HAS to be spent charting or you’ll never catch up...this felt like an abusive environment. They sell you on “life work balance” at the interview which makes the pay cut everyone takes seem worth it. Then you get there and reality kicks in. I do not recommend this employer for NPs/PAs.
