Pros

1. Virtual medical team 2. Incredible Colleagues 3. Rounds weekly with CME Money for continuing education

Cons

***I borrowed/edited some sentiments/words from a prior review because it so perfectly summarized the issues at this company*** 1. The front line teams have repeatedly been shown they are not prioritized or valued, even after a year of constant change where their lives were at risk. When front line teams bring up concerns, they are ignored. 2. Lack of transparency from leadership-leadership is very top down, nothing goes bottom up, and concerns are ignored no matter how consistently different offices/districts are raising the same concerns. 3. Incredibly poor management- the worst I’ve ever experienced despite working in many different medical settings. It’s unorganized at the lower levels and at the higher levels management is so far removed from clinical care or work hardly any patient care hours that they don't understand the level of fatigue on the ground level, nor do they pretend to care. It’s the epitome of lazy leadership, they don’t even meet their own expectations of others. It’s the organization where the phrase “lead by example” came to die. And their strategy to address staff concerns is to blame staff who raise concerns, which fosters an environment of bullying and intimidation. 4. Low wages- admin and phlebotomists are not paid a living wage. The starting MD wage is competitive, but plateaus there, loyalty is not rewarded. While those at the top/in leadership positions make absurd salaries (during a pandemic our CEO Amir made $200 million sitting in his house, but an admin who works 40 hours a week in an office putting their life at risk everyday made $30,000). One Medical is like many other for profit tech companies, they are making the rich richer while exploiting those at the bottom. 5. Long hours after patient care is done and no admin time. 6. It's all about customer service- the patient being happy at the expense of good clinical medicine and the dignity/humanity of staff members. 7. High maintenance patients
