Pros

strong retention and lot of experienced colleagues nice working environment

Cons

this company has been evolving from a strong entrepreneurial environment with fast decision processes towards a global US controlling environment with fast slowing down processes since 2 years now. All personal initiatives are blocked, empowerment to freezing status, processes are so long and demands are not handled by US so that it even takes weeks to get a simple contract or an approval signed. Pressure on results rise every week but results are negatively influenced by this non decision taking US board.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review on Glassdoor. OneSpan is in the midst of a company-wide shift towards a global culture, which has resulted in adjustments to processes and procedures. We appreciate that change is sometimes uncomfortable and trust that these adjustments will enable further growth and success.

Pros

OneSpan has a collaborative and welcoming culture, and teams are genuinely supportive and helpful. People are kind, approachable, and open to sharing knowledge, which creates a positive working environment. There is also openness to trying new ideas and exploring fresh approaches, which makes it an exciting place to contribute and grow. Strong cross-functional collaboration and flexibility make it easy to feel supported while doing meaningful work.

Cons

Pros

Remote work is amazing, and there is a lot of flexibility at OneSpan, as well as a lot of freedom to improve the company. If you have an idea, and you want to try and make it happen, they will let you. You may not get all of the resources that you need, but you will be given the opportunity to at least try it on your own.

Cons

Not sure the company is heading down the right path, and with all of the options available in the cybersecurity world, OneSpan is one 2008 banking crisis from getting hurt...bad. Its also pretty stagnant, and people tend to stay employed there for a very long time (which could also be a pro, not a con).
