Pros

Work from home flexibility was the only reason I stayed as long as I did.

Cons

-Disconnect between product and sales -Lack of growth opportunities inside the organization -Poor Leadership -Misleading employees to hide the reality that the company is NOT doing well -Below average compensation -If you want to stagnate your professional career and work for a company that does not appreciate the work you put in (at one point they did, since they company got acquired everything has nosedived)

Thanks for sharing your perspective. Overall, we have been looking at our 2019 plans and aligning our teams to where we are going in the marketplace with our products. Any decision to eliminate or add positions is based on ensuring our continued growth aligns with our strategy. Unfortunately, sometimes that impacts people, and we wish all those affected the best.

Pros

OneSpan has a collaborative and welcoming culture, and teams are genuinely supportive and helpful. People are kind, approachable, and open to sharing knowledge, which creates a positive working environment. There is also openness to trying new ideas and exploring fresh approaches, which makes it an exciting place to contribute and grow. Strong cross-functional collaboration and flexibility make it easy to feel supported while doing meaningful work.

Cons

Pros

Remote work is amazing, and there is a lot of flexibility at OneSpan, as well as a lot of freedom to improve the company. If you have an idea, and you want to try and make it happen, they will let you. You may not get all of the resources that you need, but you will be given the opportunity to at least try it on your own.

Cons

Not sure the company is heading down the right path, and with all of the options available in the cybersecurity world, OneSpan is one 2008 banking crisis from getting hurt...bad. Its also pretty stagnant, and people tend to stay employed there for a very long time (which could also be a pro, not a con).
