Pros

- nice people for the most part - opportunities to grow with company

Cons

management does not respect its own code of ethics. My boss was going around telling everyone what a lousy employee I was (behind my back too), screaming at me in front of others at meetings, and treating me like crap (unacceptable). Management did zero to fix the situation and I ended up leaving. My manager was never reprimanded for his unacceptable conduct.

Having an excellent working relationship with your manager is exceptionally important and we are disappointed that was not the experience you had. Since we acquired eSignLive in 2015, we have refocused our company culture on the core values of Collaboration, Accountability, Transparency and Speed. We have also introduced training that empowers managers to model positive leadership qualities. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we will be sure to continue on the path we are on to ensure this situation does not happen again.

Pros

OneSpan has a collaborative and welcoming culture, and teams are genuinely supportive and helpful. People are kind, approachable, and open to sharing knowledge, which creates a positive working environment. There is also openness to trying new ideas and exploring fresh approaches, which makes it an exciting place to contribute and grow. Strong cross-functional collaboration and flexibility make it easy to feel supported while doing meaningful work.

Pros

Remote work is amazing, and there is a lot of flexibility at OneSpan, as well as a lot of freedom to improve the company. If you have an idea, and you want to try and make it happen, they will let you. You may not get all of the resources that you need, but you will be given the opportunity to at least try it on your own.

Cons

Not sure the company is heading down the right path, and with all of the options available in the cybersecurity world, OneSpan is one 2008 banking crisis from getting hurt...bad. Its also pretty stagnant, and people tend to stay employed there for a very long time (which could also be a pro, not a con).
