Pros
Always hiring. The company has contracts with some of the most recognizable companies in the country. These contracts ,allow these icons to outsource low level revenue generating touch-points. The willingness to hire train and attempt to retain employees makes it a good place for those that are looking to get into customer service or sales.
Cons
I can't begin to tell you the sometimes illegal way in which the company decides to pay peoplpe. The constant change in pay rarely works in the favor of the employee. There was a class action lawsuit that has been settled however the mediation is so newly inked that those that chose to participate have not been informed of the potential payout. Quick fact one partner pays the company 42.00/hr to have a rep. on the phone conducting business on their behalf. The agent is then told that after a long hard fight with "upper management" the prevailing wage is 12.00/hr. that is outside of any commission structure or applicable bonus that is also based on arbitrary closed door sessions with One Touch and the client. I have seen THOUSANDS of dollars withheld due to impossible hours requirements. Example. if you did enough business to EARN the stated monthly bonus, you can make the number, but not get the payout because you missed a day of work. Example if you missed Wed. due to an emergency, time must be made up by SATURDAY which only has a 4 hr. schedule only, and if there is no freeze on Saturday work which averaged 30% of the time or more. Client doesn't care if it took an agent 12 or40 hrs. If their target was met the bonus gets paid. But I digress, if you are looking for an intro. to business. It could be worse. Seasoned professionals beware that all that glitters is not gold.
