Pros

-CEO is open, hard working and accessible to all employees -Title-less culture so ability to execute is rewarded over years of experience -Private funding allows company to focus on winning rather than worry about making payroll -Start-up culture means we get to move fast and make decisions quickly. Little to no red tape to get things done. -Salaries are high and new benefits including better healthcare options (PPO with FSA and HDHP with an HSA - huge tax benefits to both), snacks in the break rooms, and more benefits are on the way. -Departments are well-staffed and if persons are being overworked leadership quickly approves for additional headcount. -Technology is best in the market and the company is synonymous with privacy management in the industry -Get to work for the leader, not the follower, in the privacy space Working in the privacy management space is personally rewarding. I truly believe that the work we is a major net benefit to society. I didn't think about the importance of personal privacy until I started working for OneTrust, now I see the ways that big companies are incredibly invasive and manipulative with the information they have on us, and new privacy laws put the control back into the hands of us, the people, and technology like OneTrust helps companies make privacy a business differentiator. I believe that companies that position themselves as a privacy-first organization will win in the end. I would recommend anyone interested in working for OneTrust speak to current employees about concerns you may have about some of the reviews on this site from former employees. I have not had any of these experiences of yelling/cursing/working weekends/not feeling empowered or in control of my career. At any time that issues are brought up to leadership, they are resolved quickly. I legitimately love working for OneTrust!

Cons

OneTrust is a rapidly growing start up, and when you are building new technology in a new space, you will be required to work, and work hard. While this is definitely the case, leadership is open to flexible working options to maintain work/life balance.

Pros

Unfortunately there isn't anything worth highlighting. If you are actively interviewing at OneTrust, I would encourage you to carefully read through the reviews. There are several red flags that I wish I would have been aware of prior to joining.

Cons

- Unsustainable turnover and bad leadership: The CEO, CRO, CFO, and CTO abruptly quit shortly after I started. There is extremely high turnover across all teams (particularly in GTM). Favoritism runs rampant, especially with tenured leaders. - Lack of job security and stability: At the beginning of this year, several of my peers were impacted by a reduction in force. This unfortunately appears to be a common occurrence at the start of the fiscal year. OneTrust is a revolving door for top talent. - Poor compensation: The bonus pool was slashed a few weeks after being announced at a company all-hands. This money was allegedly invested elsewhere (unclear where though). There is no equity refresh for existing employees and merit increases were far and few between this year. - Lack of diversity: Despite being headquartered in Atlanta, there are no black c-suite members. The board has no female members. Diversity is limited at the most senior leadership levels.
