Pros
The people - the people you work with are some of the hardest working and coolest people you'll find in consulting. Coming from the traditional large consulting company to OneTrust I really felt like part of a team where everyone was putting in effort to better the company. Some of the best leadership in industry I've seen is at OneTrust - from the product managers to the implementation team leads, there is a ton of support to help you be successful. Also, they are just super f*cking effective.
The career growth - if you perform, there is tons of opportunity to grow your career. You will be given larger and more complex clients - I was personally given the opportunity to lead the implementation for multiple fortune 500 companies and was given the freedom to lead the implementation as I saw fit as long as we met deadlines and kept the customer satisfied. Don't like what you do (and provide value to the company)? Talk to leadership. They will work to find something where you are both happy.
The challenge - You will be challenged at OneTrust more than most companies. Within a few months of joining the company you are required to get the CIPP/E and CIPM certifications while working full time. Not too difficult, but from there, the company is growing rapidly, so there is always more work to do. With the rapid growth comes a lot of challenging opportunities .
Cons
Sometimes you will work long hours, but the dedication to deliver to the customer is recognized by leadership.
