Pros

*100% the people. They are what keep the company together. With CCPA deadline upon us, other teams, even UK, pitching in to help an understaffed US PSO team *Free snacks, coffee... right now - free breakfast and dinner *You can learn a lot working at this company within the first month. As soon as you get settled, you get an increasing number of responsibilities and projects *Opportunities for growth in other areas of the org within 6 months *Casual environment - unless we're meeting with a customer, we can be in jeans and a tshirt *Monthly town halls so you know the mission and trajectory of the company *Kabir holding "AMA" sessions to answer any questions employees might have

Cons

*Longer hours required right now - everyone is working 60+ hours due to CCPA. Would at least be nice to get at least 1 day WFH to reduce commute time and get more stuff done within that time *No 401k match yet *Equity only for top-of-the-top performers

OneTrust Response

Thank you for your feedback! We have some of the best, brightest, and hardest working people at OneTrust! Yes, we are currently going through a surge of business due to the January 1, 2020 CCPA deadline, but everyone has banded together and are working hard to make things happen. We are so appreciative of the time people have dedicated to make this a successful endeavor! OneTrust thrives as an 'in-office' work environment. We believe that conversations held in the break room while getting a cup of coffee or a passing comment from a coworker in the hallway can lead to problem solving on the spot! While we do not have a formalized 'Work from Home' policy, each department can be flexible and we encourage you to work with your manager when situations arise. Again, thank you for your feedback and your support as a OneTrust employee!

Pros

Unfortunately there isn't anything worth highlighting. If you are actively interviewing at OneTrust, I would encourage you to carefully read through the reviews. There are several red flags that I wish I would have been aware of prior to joining.

Cons

- Unsustainable turnover and bad leadership: The CEO, CRO, CFO, and CTO abruptly quit shortly after I started. There is extremely high turnover across all teams (particularly in GTM). Favoritism runs rampant, especially with tenured leaders. - Lack of job security and stability: At the beginning of this year, several of my peers were impacted by a reduction in force. This unfortunately appears to be a common occurrence at the start of the fiscal year. OneTrust is a revolving door for top talent. - Poor compensation: The bonus pool was slashed a few weeks after being announced at a company all-hands. This money was allegedly invested elsewhere (unclear where though). There is no equity refresh for existing employees and merit increases were far and few between this year. - Lack of diversity: Despite being headquartered in Atlanta, there are no black c-suite members. The board has no female members. Diversity is limited at the most senior leadership levels.
