Pros

Interesting platform Intense bootcamps when you start Fast growth Social teams Some are rewarded for hard work Loads of movement between teams to gain more experience

Cons

Toxic environment Favouritism Gossip is strife High school environment Some managers only care about growth rather than their own team Intense bootcamps No work life balance No flexible working Holidays are just above bare minimum Some of the positive reviews on this site are fake as OneTrust have so many bad ones No values or culture set Growing so fast not only due to success of company but also the resignations and terminations

OneTrust Response

Thank you for your feedback! OneTrust is proud of the 'Boot Camp' structure as it allows new employees to experience the passion and intensity in which OneTrust employees have for the work we do. The global HR team strives to create a positive experience for our employees, and we would hope that all employees feel comfortable and empowered to raise any concerns with the HR team. We have more than doubled in size in 2019, so growing pains are to be expected, but our goal has always been to create a positive and supportive work environment. To address some of the comments made above, OneTrust prides itself with being able to say that we currently have over 500 certified Privacy Professionals! We will continue to offer FREE study materials, IAPP memberships, and cover the cost of exam fees for our employees. We know these certifications help us stand out in the crowd. And, in 2019 alone, we added more Holiday time as well as expanded the Maternity and Parental Leave policies. We will continue to evaluate and improve upon the benefits we offer. We are also dedicated to training and growing our managers through our Learning & Development series which provides the skills and resources needed when managing a team. We will continue to expand this series into 2020. Again, thank you for providing your feedback. It is appreciated and necessary for OneTrust to grow.

Pros

Unfortunately there isn't anything worth highlighting. If you are actively interviewing at OneTrust, I would encourage you to carefully read through the reviews. There are several red flags that I wish I would have been aware of prior to joining.

Cons

- Unsustainable turnover and bad leadership: The CEO, CRO, CFO, and CTO abruptly quit shortly after I started. There is extremely high turnover across all teams (particularly in GTM). Favoritism runs rampant, especially with tenured leaders. - Lack of job security and stability: At the beginning of this year, several of my peers were impacted by a reduction in force. This unfortunately appears to be a common occurrence at the start of the fiscal year. OneTrust is a revolving door for top talent. - Poor compensation: The bonus pool was slashed a few weeks after being announced at a company all-hands. This money was allegedly invested elsewhere (unclear where though). There is no equity refresh for existing employees and merit increases were far and few between this year. - Lack of diversity: Despite being headquartered in Atlanta, there are no black c-suite members. The board has no female members. Diversity is limited at the most senior leadership levels.
