Pros

- Much needed and very useful product set - Company full of smart young professionals - Great potential for a lasting valuable brand - Many managers know they need help because they are underpaid and overworked, so you can get a pretty good starting salary and benefits if you're smart

Cons

- Company culture based on FEAR, NARCISSISM, and GREED. - Management is only management because they started with the company at the beginning and were willing to give up their lives. - They think not discussing raises and bonuses is healthy and take advantage of young people who are excited by the "start up life" - The CEO things he knows EVERYTHING and refuses to respect employees as people he hired to truly contribute, instead you are expected to be a "yes man" and treat him like a God. - They build "processes" that are extremely manual for the sake of having very high "numbers" to look at in short time periods (quick wins), rather than doing things the right way and creating sustainable and scalable foundations that make growth even more exciting. - There's a constant pressure to neglect your personal life and goals for the wishes of the CEO, and the CEO only. - No career/professional development - No performance reviews (they don't want to be faced with the things they need to do to support employees) - There is no respect paid to those who have experiences that "management" may not have - They spend the first week of employment convincing the fresh and young new hires that it's completely normal for them to be overworked and underpaid because they are a part of a tech start up. - You are constantly questioned, in unreasonable time frames, about performance that is tied to completely unreliable "data" and "reporting" because they have little to no logical understanding of healthy brand awareness and proper conversion metrics - No one knows who SHOULD be making decisions or setting goals - Everyone is afraid to speak up for what they believe in - The overarching mission of the business is not to improve the world in any way, it is only to have every company across the globe sing OneTrust's praises for "saving" their company from the "hassle" of breaches and other regulation necessities

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback and acknowledging our talented team and market-leading solutions. The two certainly don't exist without each other. We're an extremely data driven organization and invest heavily in automation. We are realistic that as a 4-year-old company, there are definitely processes that we work to improve and we are proud of the dedicated Operations team we have that continues to build more and more automation into every process, every quarter. Our philosophy on performance is constant, continuous feedback as opposed to a singular, annual review. We take hard work seriously and really want to make sure we’re rewarding individuals that go above and beyond. Our top performers are regularly recognized (and celebrated!) through our spot bonus program, our compensation review process, and by giving them the power to create their own career path through internal promotions within the organization. Our employees value the learning and development opportunities made available to them and have a lot of avenues for growth. We promote from within as a key priority and promoted 20+ employees this past quarter alone. We will continue to invest in our "in-house" experts through our training and learning programs and offer our team impactful professional and personal growth opportunities. Our employees appreciate the "do-good" nature of our business and our over-arching mission is to help companies be more trusted. We're proud of the impact we are making globally as part of this mission. Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback!

Pros

Unfortunately there isn't anything worth highlighting. If you are actively interviewing at OneTrust, I would encourage you to carefully read through the reviews. There are several red flags that I wish I would have been aware of prior to joining.

Cons

- Unsustainable turnover and bad leadership: The CEO, CRO, CFO, and CTO abruptly quit shortly after I started. There is extremely high turnover across all teams (particularly in GTM). Favoritism runs rampant, especially with tenured leaders. - Lack of job security and stability: At the beginning of this year, several of my peers were impacted by a reduction in force. This unfortunately appears to be a common occurrence at the start of the fiscal year. OneTrust is a revolving door for top talent. - Poor compensation: The bonus pool was slashed a few weeks after being announced at a company all-hands. This money was allegedly invested elsewhere (unclear where though). There is no equity refresh for existing employees and merit increases were far and few between this year. - Lack of diversity: Despite being headquartered in Atlanta, there are no black c-suite members. The board has no female members. Diversity is limited at the most senior leadership levels.
