CCPA was insane! Having rolled out GDPR in 2018 we knew we were in for a monumental challenge. We weren’t disappointed. We can’t say enough about the effort put forth by each and every member of our team, especially Professional Services. With the deadline looming in January we knew we would need an increased effort across the board, and we were not disappointed. Hard deadlines always provide an interesting challenge. That deadline is not moving no matter how many obstacles are thrown in along the way and this can lead to longer hours during critical times. The only way we were able to successfully address all of our clients’ needs was by asking for a big sacrifice from all of our teams.
These regulations will continue to trend globally. But with each one successfully launched, we are learning. We are more dynamic than we were before CCPA and have had the chance to take a step back and assess our processes and infrastructure. Any good company learns from these opportunities and we will improve and streamline our efforts after CCPA — the same way we improved after GDPR.
In order to reward, acknowledge and protect our employees we will continue to assess and rollout new benefit programs and engagement efforts.
