Pros

Pay is great - they overpay their staff for a specific reasons You will meet some great people here Allot of client engagement

Cons

As I mentioned the pay is great only because you will never get a pay rise again and will have to fight tooth and nail to get more. During CCPA (December) we all have our hearts and souls to this company, we where told to leave work at 8-9PM everyday and work on the weekends and over Xmas and New Years of we have to. Huge lay off where made to staff that sacrificed so much only to be told they where underperforming. The CEO is young but has the work ethos of a Pre Recession Wall Street Stockbroker. He has zero care for his staff and hated WFH but was forced to implement it during Lockdown. You will be overworked and expect to perform at 150% everyday. Many people have burned out due to stress and being over worked.

We are happy to hear that you appreciate the quality of your coworkers and understand the opportunity and impact tied to the OneTrust family of products. CCPA was insane! Having rolled out GDPR in 2018 we knew we were in for a monumental challenge. We weren’t disappointed. We can’t say enough about the effort put forth by each and every member of our team, especially Professional Services. With the deadline looming in January we knew we would need an increased effort across the board, and we were not disappointed. Hard deadlines always provide an interesting challenge. That deadline is not moving no matter how many obstacles are thrown in along the way and this can lead to longer hours during critical times. The only way we were able to successfully address all of our clients’ needs was by asking for a big sacrifice from all of our teams. These regulations will continue to trend globally. But with each one successfully launched, we are learning. We are more dynamic than we were before CCPA and have had the chance to take a step back and assess our processes and infrastructure. Any good company learns from these opportunities and we will improve and streamline our efforts after CCPA — the same way we improved after GDPR. In order to reward, acknowledge and protect our employees we will continue to assess and rollout new benefit programs and engagement efforts. Additionally, we want to know what we can do to empower each employee. Help us do that by communicating your questions, concerns and ideas to your HR Business Partner. Thanks for your continued effort and, of course, for the valuable feedback.

Pros

Unfortunately there isn't anything worth highlighting. If you are actively interviewing at OneTrust, I would encourage you to carefully read through the reviews. There are several red flags that I wish I would have been aware of prior to joining.

Cons

- Unsustainable turnover and bad leadership: The CEO, CRO, CFO, and CTO abruptly quit shortly after I started. There is extremely high turnover across all teams (particularly in GTM). Favoritism runs rampant, especially with tenured leaders. - Lack of job security and stability: At the beginning of this year, several of my peers were impacted by a reduction in force. This unfortunately appears to be a common occurrence at the start of the fiscal year. OneTrust is a revolving door for top talent. - Poor compensation: The bonus pool was slashed a few weeks after being announced at a company all-hands. This money was allegedly invested elsewhere (unclear where though). There is no equity refresh for existing employees and merit increases were far and few between this year. - Lack of diversity: Despite being headquartered in Atlanta, there are no black c-suite members. The board has no female members. Diversity is limited at the most senior leadership levels.
