Pros

The only pro is unlimited PTO if you can utilize it. Also if you work with a good manager that would be an added advantage as they do show a lot of favoritism.

Cons

Everything at OneTrust is a show that management puts on for marketing. The CEO and higher management always overstate the success of the company all the time. Constantly in the internal all-hands calls employees are told the company is having the best quarter of the company's history, but in reality the management states budget freeze for getting basic funding approved for acquire tools. It get's even worse, right after the assurance of financial stability by the CEO himself multiple times, there are series of mass layoffs, one in 2020 and another in 2022. Either the management do not know what they want to do with the company or they are the most dishonest and convoluted people, irrespective the company is a nightmare for employees which mostly likely ends once you get laid off. The software developed by the team is sub-standard. There is zero innovation involved in developing anything. The attitude from higher management is to just fix-up things as issues rise instead of building something fundamentally good. The lack of good software is covered by extremely discounted software offering. So this is not a company that will last a long time under this management.

Pros

Unfortunately there isn't anything worth highlighting. If you are actively interviewing at OneTrust, I would encourage you to carefully read through the reviews. There are several red flags that I wish I would have been aware of prior to joining.

Cons

- Unsustainable turnover and bad leadership: The CEO, CRO, CFO, and CTO abruptly quit shortly after I started. There is extremely high turnover across all teams (particularly in GTM). Favoritism runs rampant, especially with tenured leaders. - Lack of job security and stability: At the beginning of this year, several of my peers were impacted by a reduction in force. This unfortunately appears to be a common occurrence at the start of the fiscal year. OneTrust is a revolving door for top talent. - Poor compensation: The bonus pool was slashed a few weeks after being announced at a company all-hands. This money was allegedly invested elsewhere (unclear where though). There is no equity refresh for existing employees and merit increases were far and few between this year. - Lack of diversity: Despite being headquartered in Atlanta, there are no black c-suite members. The board has no female members. Diversity is limited at the most senior leadership levels.
