Pros

You will be forced to learn a lot about the industry.

Cons

Arrogant, tyrannical leadership at all levels (creepy/cringey CEO).  Most managers have inflated egos and little experience before our outside of OT.  Zero work life balance, harassment in 1:1's and harassment on chat at all hours.  Sweatshop culture, not a culture of loyalty and reps who suffer longer than 6 months are indoctrinated and/or naive (those who think it's cool to work at a 'unicorn' with substandard pay and little or no equity).  Low pay for saas sales roles, commission claw-backs for selling solutions that you are mandated to sell but break because they aren't ready.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. We're sorry to read about your OneTrust experience. We encourage you to utilize the internal Ethics & Compliance Portal or to reach out to your HRBP to report any harassment, as that is something we do not tolerate. OneTrust has been through a lot of change this year. We’ve moved from a high-growth start up to one focused on long-term growth and value for our customers. We welcomed a number of acquired companies and new leadership to build and scale the leading Trust Intelligence Platform. We recognize that our culture has shifted as a result. Over the past few months, we’ve been hard at work refreshing our culture and values to re-center and give us a north star for how we show up and how we make decisions. 100’s of employees participated in our focus groups and nearly 2,000 provided feedback via our engagement survey to help shape our culture. We’re looking forward to releasing our refreshed culture and values work in February at our Company Kickoff.

Pros

Unfortunately there isn't anything worth highlighting. If you are actively interviewing at OneTrust, I would encourage you to carefully read through the reviews. There are several red flags that I wish I would have been aware of prior to joining.

Cons

- Unsustainable turnover and bad leadership: The CEO, CRO, CFO, and CTO abruptly quit shortly after I started. There is extremely high turnover across all teams (particularly in GTM). Favoritism runs rampant, especially with tenured leaders. - Lack of job security and stability: At the beginning of this year, several of my peers were impacted by a reduction in force. This unfortunately appears to be a common occurrence at the start of the fiscal year. OneTrust is a revolving door for top talent. - Poor compensation: The bonus pool was slashed a few weeks after being announced at a company all-hands. This money was allegedly invested elsewhere (unclear where though). There is no equity refresh for existing employees and merit increases were far and few between this year. - Lack of diversity: Despite being headquartered in Atlanta, there are no black c-suite members. The board has no female members. Diversity is limited at the most senior leadership levels.
