Pros
Really nice people, decent benefits, good for new careers
Cons
Founder-led, which means it’s not very progressive with growth strategies. Many people started as interns, so you don’t have a high level of skill to help steer the direction of the company. A lot of people have also been here a long time and status quo is a comfortable place for them to live. The president is also the wife of the CEO, and they run it like a mom and pop business. Either of them at any moment could be the CMO or CRO, which can change weekly. Neither of them have the skills to do either. They don’t care about growth and see their low ARR that barely changes as success. No room to grow and you will often be managed by less experienced people if you’re an industry expert. Many people love it here, and I think that’s because they love their coworkers and the comfortableness of job security. The work itself is not exciting and not for anyone looking to accelerate their career or have an opinion. Also they do really uncomfortable DEI initiatives like having LGBT or Black people come in and talk about how their experiences and how to be an ally. It’s so tone deaf.
