Pros
Competitive salary. Great CEO who is a physician and understands the clinical world. Staff and culture of hospital are appreciative of spiritual care and its impact on health and healing of patients and families. Yuma is a wonderfully diverse area. Lot's of Hispanic influence with strong family values.
Cons
Enticed the retirement of several long term upper management employees and replaced them with inexperienced leaders who are struggling. Yuma (especially foothills area) has a large Trumpian population of retirees that do not abide by Covid19 regulations and they create a high infection risk to others. Looking to partner with LifePoint Health and this creates high anxiety around future for employees. Minimal psychiatric services in hospital and in Yuma area.
