Pros
People are nice. Can be fun. You use knowledge and skills you wouldn't in a retail position.
Cons
Management likes to gaslight employees. When technicians with years of experience come and offer ideas on how to help the pharmacy to have a better workflow, they don't want to even consider the idea. You have people who are so burnt out and down because of being overworked and dismissed. Technicians are not held to the standards that they should be, nor does the management want to bring the technicians to the level they should be. Management has falsified abilities of a technician just to justify their pay. If you have any real knowledge or skill do not go here, it will crush your ambitions to do more in the pharmacy world. If you can ignore how pharmacy is degraded by fellow departments and be ok with not showing your knowledge then you'll do ok.
