Pros
You learn to use Excel fairly well. Standard 9-5, pretty much.
Cons
I hadn't planned on writing anything but recently heard that another negative review on this site prompted the CEO to email the Boston office that the review was from a single disgruntled former employee and to disregard it. I understand that is hearsay and potentially unfair, but based on my experience at OpSec, I believe it to be true. That belief and my feelings toward company management (disregard for employee welfare, dismissal of criticism, etc), in making such a statement have led me to this review. So that gives you an idea of what the company is like. In actuality, my experience was one where I used my lunch breaks to send out resumes (I worked there approximately 1 year). My total workload was full of routine, busy work that we could (and often did) outsource to other countries. It involves manually reviewing hundreds of links a day, paying a $40K/year salary, and offering very limited opportunities for advancement or pay raises. Although I had a business graduate degree, no one ever asked my advice or offered me a chance to grow beyond the busy work. Middle management is dismissive of low level employees and extremely demanding of deliverables.
