Pros
Lower-level management seems to really care about the employees and tries hard to make it better for everyone.
Cons
Sadly, the lower-level management is not in control of anything, including their own employees. The executive leadership team (ELT) doesn’t communicate or work with each other to effectively run a business. “The right hand never knows what the left hand is doing.” The ELTs are so self-absorbed that they have no interest in learning how to be effective managers. The corporate headquarters spends money like it is water and doesn’t know how to control the spending, with the ELTs as the worst offenders. The salespeople are dropping like flies, and it shows from every angle. The loss of good customers is the first red flag. The CEO thinks that cutting pay and benefits of the low pay employees is the answer. It is self-destruction. The problem is they are the ones doing the work on the front lines with the customers. The morale is very low, there is no way this doesn’t resonate with the customers. There are many studies that show a company with happy employees, creates a better bottom line. The CEO has no clue because he is so narcissistic, he can’t see it. A comparison of OpSec to Enron is an understatement. I have personally seen fraud practiced in this company and when it was reported to the upper management, they swept it under the rug because it was their own doing. The company is a textbook formula for imploding if they don’t go broke first. Let’s just hope this company never goes public. I feel horrible for possible investors.
