The best thing about this company is that it’s easy to get in the door and get some experience out of college.
Cons
Compensation for developers is well below market average even for entry level developers. Stay longer than a year and you’ll develop terrible habits, learn on ancient tech stacks, follow terrible design principles and in general become a bad developer. If you need a job and you have little or no experience then go for it otherwise steer clear. This place is probably one of the most toxic work environments in technology you can find in the twin cities. You have to be in the building from 8-5 with a mandatory one hour lunch which must be taken between 11-2. Go over your designated one hour and you’ll hear about it. Show up 5 minutes late because traffic was bad, you’ll hear about it. Kid is sick and you want to stay home, burn a full PTO, no chance of working from home. This place doesn’t treat you as if your a human and no consideration is taken for your life outside of work. The CEO Sassan doesn’t care about his employees or there well being, just whether or not they are making him money. One of my colleagues was awarded an anniversary placard and Sassan couldn’t even pronounce his name despite having worked there five years. He’s even used scare-tactics to get us to work harder by telling us about how he fired and employee who made a mistake on the job because “mistakes aren't acceptable here”.
