Pros
Home infusion is a great field. You get to work with patients really closely and be involved in a lot of clinical decision making. Usually nice business hour and then you rotate who is on call.
Cons
Being on-call nights and weekends is sometimes hard. Expect lots of changes from management continually. Really unstable company structure. They have been bought and sold a bunch and are currently involved in a merger. They have to make a lot of cuts and changes to keep up. I've seen a lot of really great people cut and a lot of really dumb management decisions that negatively affect patient care. Terrible culture. Lots of micromanaging where they don't need to, and lots of neglect where they should step in. They don't care about employees. Experience or skill is not important to them, only money. Expect that they will probably not have your best interests in mind.
