Pros
You used to be able to make a good amount of money as a BDC or ISR but they have recently changed comp plans to limit the amount you can make. There was never much work to do and we got to work from home so lots of freedom there.
Cons
They don't care about their employees or customers. Unless you spend multi millions with them as a customer, you will not receive support. They force large uplift on customers, lie about support they will be given after they sign a contract, and lie about answers to customers so they sign the contract but never get what they actually need. Oracle doesn't care about any of the other pillars besides ERP. Their new model is supposed to be "customer focused" and make it so customers don't have to speak to hundreds of account managers but it got even worse and nothing has changed, but more people for customers to speak to. They laid off thousands of employees this summer through impersonal phone calls from random people reading off of scripts and providing no answers to questions. After interviewing at other companies, I've discovered Oracle severely underpays (didn't offer raises this year) and has horrible customer support. Unless you want to be viewed as a number and constantly be forced to lie to customers and give them the worst experience possible with a company, look elsewhere.
