Pros

Good location, Hybrid work place, Updated office space

Cons

Unfortunately Orange Bees has taken a turn for the worse. Notice any positive reviews are all older. This year, there were unexpected layoffs that seemed to only affect people that weren't well liked by management (some of which have also left). Nearly everyone that wasn't laid off has since transitioned out of the company due to a lack of action from leadership post-layoffs. The "good old boys" club is very existent here, so beware. Decision-making by the leadership is confusing and not employee-centric. Benefits are lacking and outdated. 10 days of PTO for most employees. Average healthcare. No 401k. Any suggestions to improve benefits are shrugged off, and only viewed as a "cost" to the company and not as a value to employees. As far as employee growth and development, that's also not a priority. The leadership will tell you this is a learning opportunity to be exposed to a variety of things, but there is little action taken to actually grow employees.

Pros

Feeling welcomed when joining this company. A very smooth transition and a positive start to one's career. A warm and inclusive onboarding process sets the tone for a positive work environment, where new employees feel valued and part of the team from day one. The sense of belonging and raising loyalty and commitment to the organization.

Cons

Turnover rates have increased, and exceptional coworkers are being lost, while promotions for mid-level managers and upwards are increasingly competitive.

Pros

- co-workers are easy to work with - good restaurants nearby

Cons

I have seen enough of the fake reviews. Anyone who has worked at OrangeBees knows they are not real. I read the reviews just to see what is going on since I left and I would just let it be, but this is unreal. I guess it is easier to have people put in BS reviews than fix the problems. Several recent reviews have something in the con section about OrangeBees being a "big" or "huge" corporation. OrangeBees has 20 employees. 20 employees ... that is not a misprint. They hired someone to write good reviews for them. They are written by someone who knows nothing about the company. This goes for any company but if the only con in a review is "this company moves fast which may not be for everyone" or something to that effect, it is fake. It is that simple. I am disappointed more with glassdoor than OrangeBees on this one. I could write something in a few hours that could flag reviews like that. This company is more than 10 years old and still does not have a 401K and has 2 weeks of vacation for new hires. That is pathetic and any review that does not mention one or both of those facts is fake. Based on when I was there and what I have heard since I left, OrangeBees does not have enough work to keep everyone busy. It is not a good situation. I feel sorry for the engineers that are still there.
