Pros
My experience at Orchestra has been fulfilling and fun for these reasons: - Passionate, optimistic, enthusiastic teams of humans that form a cohesive culture of authenticity, transparency, honesty and incredible work ethic. - Snacks/free food and drink sharing opportunities several times a week. Both healthy options and not so healthy options. - Management that genuinely cares about your goals and performance but not about micro managing you in any way. - Fun events for the whole company, your team and even your family several times a year. - Killer swag that includes shirts, hoodies, jackets, hats, backpacks, thermal cups and more. - Core Values that everyone abides by and agrees with. It is a very symbiotic relationship between all the different departments and it is awesome to witness and be a part of. - Your birthday is a holiday and you get the day off! - Work/Life balance really exists! As long as the work is getting done, there is a lot of opportunity to live your life and disconnect when you are done for the day or not working. You will not get burned out unless you actively try to. - Every day brings new info and the ability to create opportunities out of obstacles. - Your voice is heard when it comes to issues/problems/obstacles
Cons
I have no negatives to list. Orchestra has exceeded my expectations for a company, especially a privately owned company, on a regular basis. I love my job, I respect my teammates and I am thriving here. Some have commented on the fast pace and the quick changes but business is booming and who wants to eat the same flavor each day? Every day is fresh and there is plenty of excitement with awards and new clients and new ways of doing things! If you want a boring, predictable job, then Orchestra is not for you.
