Pros
There are a few brilliant minds trying to make OHSU a great place. It is variable from manager to manager but seems to be a fairly good focus on work-life balance. OHSU tries to create employee incentives to be healthy. Good dental coverage.
Cons
1) The parking situation is a nightmare. Yes OHSU incentives and subsidizes public transport but this is not enough. The wait-list is long and employees most in need of parking will never get parking. 2) Limited shared resources 3) If involved in Knight Cancer Research, disagree with the KCRB building design. The design for modern, wide-open, flexible space is adapted from the tech industry and is an outdated trend. Not to mention it will not facilitate good science. 4) Nightmare during inclement weather
