Pros
The job had decent highly subsidized healthcare, and moderate copay/deductables
Very diverse community in which to work and engage with daily, helping lead to new ideas.
Cons
The paid parking is extremely expensive, based on how much you make, and most "available lots" are no where near your building unless you are a doctor in the hospital
If you are salaried they expect you to come in for 60-80 hours a week, but the second you cant make 40 hours one week, they drop your pay to what you'd make hourly, even if it's only short a few minutes and the Sun-Sat before in the 2 wk pay period you were here 10-12 hours every day. You didnt make 40 hours THAT week, so you get dropped in pay for the period.
Dont ever expect a raise, but watch your PI get multiple while you're there, while also complaining about the budget.
