Pros
Lot of learning opportunities Good colleagues to work with Friendly and reachable HR Compensatory offs/ additional pay for working on weekends Haven't heard of any mass Lay offs or appraisal cuts in last 5 years It is Good if you get into teams working on shift basis
Cons
Major client in very demanding and puts lot of pressure which is not dealt accordingly and employees have to take the pain of heavy work load, longer office hours, weekends. Stretching the work to >12 hrs is very common. Poor distribution of work between resources and dependencies: if you are good at something, you'll always be inside office!
