"Orkin's jobs offer variety and we agree that a great a perk is meeting new people! For our sales and service roles, we provide a company vehicle equipped with safety features and GPS. To clarify, the GPS is used similarly to the major delivery companies to provide the most efficient routing to get to as many customers as possible. In cases of accidents, we can actually recreate the accident digitally to see what happened. It does of course monitor speeding, harsh maneuvering, harsh braking, etc. which not only keeps our drivers safe but others as well. The goal of vehicle safety technology is to reduce risky driving behavior and to prevent or mitigate the impact of on-road crashes. We accomplish this through positive employee engagement and by setting expectation on how we use the technology to coach and build a defensive driving culture. These efforts protect our workplace, the motoring public and the communities or businesses that we serve on a daily basis. We hope this clarify your concerns.
