Pros
The work environment is great, there isn't a huge room for advancement as a MA, but you can go to school, it is just difficult since most programs want full time. Very few areas have any sort of management positions for medical assistants. The job is full time, but variable, so if you take time off you end up losing hours since you won't get a full 80-hour paycheck, which is horrible. There are good benefits, but you get what you pay for pretty much with it. It's pretty easy to move to a different department if you move laterally, so you can change specialties and broaden your resume, Orlando Health is everywhere, so if you move, there is a chance there is OH somewhere near you, so you can keep your job.
Cons
Variable not full time, pharmacy benefits not great, no room for advancement in medical assisting.
