- the point system for absences: many people with families rack up points for absences when children are sick and there is no one else to care for them
- Paid Time Off is used to cover sick time, vacation time, natural disaster office closure days and holidays (the office is closed and we do not have the option to work)
- there is no clinical ladder to increase pay. There is an RN clinical advancement program now that is paid out as a bonus after completing a portfolio of applicable extracurriculars instead of raising the hourly wage. You can apply to intend to do the portfolio every 6 months and there are 3 tiers with 3 different amounts for the possible bonus.
- more jobs/tasks are added on as part of the job that were not originally in the job description without additional compensation
