-If you live in CA, CO, MT, or NE and don't take any or much PTO throughout the year, you get a check for any hours over the 40 hour rollover. If you're in any other state, you're out of luck and you just lose it. I was forced to take roughly 120 hours of PTO in November and December 2020 knowing I was going to lose it, even though I still worked during my time off due to regulatory deadlines, but found out all of my coworkers (who are all in the states listed above) were getting a paycheck for their unused PTO. Not a fair policy at all.
-ALL applicants have to be sent and approved by the CEO before they can be hired. I suggest staying away if you have the option.
-Logic and common sense have no room here
-You have an idea? Great! Throw it out the window because it'll fall on deaf ears and nothing will change.
-You can send all the requests you want to upper management but you'll never get a response, unless it's for something they want of you. So, your requests will be ignored.
-You can take on two jobs at once (due to COVID times) and excel at both of them, but will they realize that and compensate you fairly for it? No way. Just a pat on the back and a "thanks for saving us money."
