Pros

Otak is a fun place to work. The Portland office (1 of 8 offices across the U.S.) has put-put golf to raise money and food for the food bank, Wine Down Wednesdays, a beer tap on site (only available after 3:30 PM), $100 a month in the Portland location to use for mass transit or parking, fun employees, environmentally engaged, rewards employees with up to 24 hours of extra PTO for volunteering for qualified non-profits, 100% paid health insurance for employee, generous PTO Policy with 15 to 20 days of PTO per year, Otak's Fun Committee always making work a fun atmosphere, flexible work schedules, PTO Donation, Annual Bonuses, quarterly goal setting, annual reviews, open door policies and very engaged Executive Management Team. Otak also has standard sit/stand desks as standard issue for any new office or remodel space.

Cons

Tight deadlines for clients. Work can be very demanding and then slow depending needs of the clients.

We're glad you appreciate the benefits Otak has to offer! The other unique benefit we offer new employees with many years of experience is that PTO is based on number of years of experience, NOT number of years with the company. This benefit means that experienced staff do not have to start back at Square 1, earning PTO all over again. Thanks for taking the time to write a review. We're glad to have you at Otak!
