Pros
This company really cares about its employees and customers. That was true before COVID, and became even moreso since then. From the CEO on down, the message has been that employees should balance their work and home life by whatever means necessary, and whatever works for them will work for the company. The company's rapid growth is pretty incredible to watch. There is a lot of push to make processes better so they are scalable. In the background there are always lots of projects going on to better support the core business. Many teams are based in Portugal, but with US presence as well. Everyone is in the same boat in terms of working around multiple timezones, and is generally respectful of local working hours. Benefits are pretty good, including the potential for equity someday. For those in the US, healthcare cost is probably better than you are used to if you are single, and about average for family coverage. Holidays are local to each country, so employees in Europe get 2 or 3 more days than the US. Those who work remote can expense phone, internet, office supplies, etc.
Cons
For those in the IT department, the matrix-style organization of most of department makes you feel a little like the "I have 8 bosses" line from Office Space. Not necessarily a severe con, but definitely leads to feeling like you are pulled in multiple directions from time to time.
