Pros
I have worked at several companies and Ovia has a rare, but wonderful culture to be a part of. The leadership is supportive, part of the work and does the right thing always. The focus on equity and belonging is felt everyday. This is my first position fully remote. The onboarding process was intentional in getting to know my coworkers. I have not felt the difference between being remote or in person! The company listens to you and values your perspective. The benefits and pay are better than I have experienced when I worked in the employee benefit space. I do not have enough good things to say about Ovia. The work itself is meaningful, the team you are surrounded by is kind, hardworking and competent, the managers + leadership are intention and empowering and the benefits / pay round it all out!
Cons
Ovia is a small company and with all small companies resources are less, but you can have a greater impact. If you like a big company or corporate feel this is likely not for you.
